Walkinstown Clutch and Gearbox Centre opened for business in Walkinstown in March 2002. The original business opened in Walkinstown, hence the name. The company relocated to it present address in Ballymount in 2010. The move entailed employing four extra technicians, which was encouraging in view of the fact that the recession had drastic repercussions and consequences on the Irish motor industry.
Our core business is in repair, rebuilding and replacing clutches and gearboxes to every make of motor car and commercial vehicle. Our workshop staff also conduct repairs to a very comprehensive range of cars. We have recently invested in a modern diagnostic system which will assist us with diagnosing any fault in any motor vehicle and subsequently rectifying the fault before the vehicle leaves our workshop. All parts used in our workshop are of O.E spec. Fortunately our workshop and service charges have been maintained over the last few years inspite of increasing costs. It is our intention to keep that way.
Please feel free to contact Brendan Hynes or John Hunt at any stage.
